What is Mood Disorder Screening? Mood Disorder Screening is an initial psychological evaluation that helps identify patterns in your emotional wellbeing, mood, stress levels, and daily functioning. The screening combines a clinical intake interview with validated psychological screening tools to provide a clearer understanding of your symptoms and recommend the most appropriate next step.

What happens during the Mood Disorder Screening session? During your appointment, your Clinical Psychologist will: Discuss your current concerns and emotional experiences. Explore your personal history, lifestyle, relationships, work, and daily functioning. Administer evidence-based mood screening questionnaires. Interpret the screening findings and explain what they may indicate. The session is confidential, supportive, and tailored to your individual concerns.

Will I receive an official report? Yes. You will receive an Official Mood Disorder Screening Report that includes: Summary of your presenting concerns. Screening findings and interpretation. Areas that may require further assessment. Personalised recommendations for therapy, diagnosis, or referrals if appropriate. Reports are typically provided within 7 working days.

Can this screening tell me if I have bipolar disorder? This screening can identify whether your symptoms suggest the need for further assessment of bipolar disorder or another mood disorder.
